Drypoint and chine collé / collaged Japanese papers. I spend a lot of time preparing the chine collé papers, painting, printing, tearing, twisting, folding and burning them. The plates are developed as one whole plate, or pieces of plates combined in the printing process. I draw and scratch, making marks, trying to keep the plate “open” so it can communicate in many directions, together with the prepared papers.
All prints are unique. Format 40 x 30 cm
