Monoprints with drypoint on chine collé
Painting on washi paper gives a softness like velvet. Crumbling the paper, drying and rewetting it leaves marks, and gives it a character similar to fabrics. On this surface I play around with the thin brittle lines and the furry lines of the drypoint needle.
